Your Legal Rights (UK & EU Customers)

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

Cancellation Period Starts:

  • For online courses: The day after purchase
  • For in-person courses: The day after booking confirmation

  2. Clearly state you wish to cancel
  3. Include your order number and email address
  4. Send notice within the 14-day period (date sent counts, not date received)

Refund Upon Cancellation:

  • Refund issued to original payment method

Loss of 14-Day Cancellation Right for Digital Content

Critical Notice for Online Courses

You LOSE your 14-day cancellation right for digital content if:

  1. You agreed to immediate access, AND
  2. You acknowledged losing your cancellation right, AND
  3. You accessed any course content

At Checkout, You Must Confirm:

  • “I want immediate access to my online course”
  • “I understand I lose my 14-day cancellation right once I access any course content”

What This Means:

  • Once you log in and view course materials, you CANNOT cancel and get a refund under the 14-day cooling-off right
  • This is UK/EU law, not our policy choice
  • You still retain other statutory rights (see below)

If You Do NOT Consent to Immediate Access:

  • Your access will be delayed by 14 days to preserve your cancellation right
  • You can cancel within 14 days for a full refund
  • After 14 days, access is automatically granted

Our Voluntary Refund Policy (Beyond Legal Requirements)

While we cannot provide refunds after you’ve accessed digital content (per UK law), we offer a voluntary refund policy in specific circumstances.

You ARE Eligible for a Refund If:

1. Technical Issues We Cannot Resolve

  • You cannot access the course due to technical problems on our end
  • We cannot resolve the issue within 7 days
  • You must report the issue immediately and allow us time to fix it

2. Material Misrepresentation

  • The course is significantly different from what was described on our website
  • Course content does not match the published curriculum or learning objectives
  • You must provide specific evidence of misrepresentation

3. Payment Errors

  • You were charged twice by error
  • Incorrect amount was charged
  • Other payment processing errors on our end

You Are NOT Eligible for a Refund For:

  • Change of mind after accessing content
  • “Didn’t like it” after viewing course materials
  • Purchased wrong course (your responsibility to check before purchase)
  • Lack of time to complete course
  • Not meeting your personal expectations (unless we misrepresented the course)
  • Technical issues on your end (device incompatibility, internet problems, lack of digital skills)
  • Failure to complete the course
  • Failure to pass assessments
  • Change in personal circumstances or financial hardship

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund:

  2. Provide your order number and registered email address
  3. Explain the specific issue with detailed evidence
  4. We will review your request within 5 business days
  5. If approved, refunds are processed within 14 days

Refund Method:

  • Refunds issued to original payment method only
  • Credit/debit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear (depending on your bank)
  • PayPal refunds typically appear within 24-48 hours

Currency:

  • Refunds issued in GBP (British Pounds Sterling)
  • For international customers: Your bank will convert to your local currency
  • Exchange rate risk applies (you may receive a different amount than originally paid)
  • Currency conversion fees charged by your bank are not refundable

In-Person Course Cancellation

Cancellation by You:

  • Cancellations must be made through our contact form
  • More than 14 days before course date: Full refund minus £25 administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before course date: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before course date: No refund
  • No-show on course day: No refund

Rescheduling:

  • One free reschedule allowed (with at least 7 days’ notice)
  • Additional reschedules subject to £25 fee
  • Subject to course availability

If We Cancel:

If we cancel your course for any reason, you will receive:

  • Full refund of all amounts paid within 14 days, OR
  • Transfer to alternative date at no additional cost (your choice)

Your Statutory Consumer Rights

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy restricts your legal rights as a consumer.

For UK Customers:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if digital content is:

  • Not of satisfactory quality
  • Not fit for purpose
  • Not as described

You are entitled to:

  • Repair or replacement of the digital content
  • Price reduction (up to full refund) if repair/replacement is not possible within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience

For services (in-person training), if not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to:

  • Repeat performance of the service
  • Price reduction (up to full refund) if repeat performance is not possible

For International Customers:

Your rights are protected under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction, which may include:

  • EU: Digital Content Directive 2019/770 (for EU member states)
  • Australia: Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Schedule 2
  • USA: Various state consumer protection laws
  • Canada: Provincial consumer protection legislation

As we are a UK-registered company, we comply with UK law. However, we respect and honour consumer protection laws in all jurisdictions where we operate. If your local laws provide greater protection than UK law, those enhanced protections apply to your purchase.

Technical Requirements

You must verify BEFORE purchase that you have:

  • A suitable device (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
  • Compatible and up-to-date web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
  • Ability to stream video content
  • Sufficient data allowance (courses contain video content)
  • Basic digital literacy to navigate online platforms

We are NOT responsible for:

  • Your internet service provider issues
  • Device compatibility problems
  • Data charges from your mobile provider
  • Software or hardware failures on your end
  • Lack of technical skills to use online platforms

Age Requirement

By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not sell courses to minors.


Payment Protection

UK Credit Card Section 75 Protection

If you pay for a course costing over £100 using a credit card, you may be protected under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
